To rent a car in the US with our service, please ensure you meet the following criteria.

Account Setup for Car Rental

 

To rent a vehicle, you must create an account with us. Registration can be completed using:

 

• An email address

• A Google account

• An Apple ID

 

Alternatively, you may sign up during your first booking. The following information will be required:

 

• Driver’s license number and expiration date

• Residential address

• Payment card (Note: Payment is only processed when your rental is confirmed)

 

Note: An SMS-capable mobile number is necessary for setting up your account.

 

Age Requirements for Car Rental in the US

 

Minimum Age for Rentals

 

• You must be at least 18 years old to rent a vehicle in the US. Age restrictions are based on your age at the time of booking.

 

Vehicle Type Age Restrictions

 

• 18 and older: Standard vehicles available

• 21 and older: Access to vehicles with a market value over $20,000

• 25 and older: Access to Premium or Deluxe vehicles

• 30 and older: Access to Luxury, Classic, and Specialty vehicles

 

Young Driver Fee Policy

 

Young drivers may incur an additional fee, which cannot be waived or refunded once the rental period concludes.

 

• Ages 18–20: Minimum young driver fee of $50/day

• Ages 18–21: Required to purchase a basic or standard protection plan

• Ages 21–24: Minimum young driver fee of $30/day

 

Driver’s License Requirements

 

During the first booking, you must provide your driver’s license details, including its expiration date. Hosts will verify license validity before the rental begins. Accepted license types are listed below.

 

Accepted License Types

 

• Permanent License: Valid licenses granting full driving rights, including those issued by other countries. A valid license must be current and not suspended, expired, or revoked.

• Temporary License (Provisional Permit):

• Temporary documentation while awaiting permanent licensing

• Must be valid for the entirety of the rental period

• Required documents include either:

• A temporary license with a photo; or

• A non-photo temporary license accompanied by a government-issued photo ID that matches the name and date of birth on the temporary license.

 

Licenses Not Permitted

 

• Expired, altered, or licenses with restrictions (e.g., conditional, provisional)

• Learner’s permits or instruction permits

 

Account Validation Process

 

We may request additional information, such as photos or further details, for verification purposes. This could include reviewing your credit history, insurance score, or background information, as permitted by applicable laws. By creating an account, you authorize us to access this data when necessary.

 

Should any of your information (e.g., email or license number) match another user’s, rental approval may be delayed. We retain the right to decline requests or revoke platform access for reasons including driving record issues or other concerns. If access is denied, refer to our guidance on resolving booking issues.
